A mix of older mobile homes and RV spaces, many of the park's residents are semi-permanent, either working in the area or here for treatment at Loma Linda Hospital or the big VA Hospital, both 3 miles away. This is a small, urban park, with tight spaces and no "activities" - but if you need to be in this area, we RECOMMEND it. Mike and Sandy, the owners, make this an outstanding park (given the limitations). They are on top of every detail and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. We are grateful to have found this well-run park when health matters dictated an extended stay.

This park is a couple notches above average. Long, level sites on gravel with grass and covered picnic tables in a quiet residential area... but no amenities of the kind. After reading prior comments, I suspect the ownership has changed - we were checked in by a young (12?) girl and her mother. The price has gone up substantially since what was quoted by prior campers, and seemed out of line for the facility to us. We would not be likely to stay again due to the high nightly rate.

Average park. The rate we paid was for a water and 50 amp electric site, not a FHU, with a 15% Escapees discount. Parking is on gravel and dirt, with some grass between spaces. As mentioned by prior reviewer, the pool was empty. Easy access from the interstate means enough traffic noise that we kept the windows closed at night. Friendly staff. Okay for an overnight.

This was our second stay here. We were the only overnight guests. Big, grass and gravel sites with great views. No shade for the pull through sites, but lots of trees for tenter's. Each site has a picnic table. Good Verizon phone and air card signal. We paid the Passport America rate, which is also offered to Escapees. Nothing to do here but sit in the shade of a green tree on the green grass and take in the views - which is why we will return when our travels bring us this way again.

Nice oasis in an arid part of Nevada. There are two developed campgrounds here (no hookups), each with around 22 campsites. Lower campground is on the Humboldt River with shade trees; upper campground in at the boat launch with less privacy and no shade. Though the address is in Lovelock, the recreation area is between Lovelock and Winnemucca. Highly recommended for a relaxing overnight stop. No cell service.

This tightly-managed park is visually appealing, with long, level, reasonably wide sites. Very nice common areas, both outdoors and indoors. Wi-Fi at your site costs extra (we had great reception on our Verizon aircard), but is free in the TV lounge. Our rating would be higher if the sites had cable TV and picnic tables. Noise from Hwy 89 is somewhat annoying. We don't have a dog, but the dog walk area and fenced off-leash area seem like useful amenities. We will return when we are in the area again.

If we arrived at this campground expecting a “10”, we would have been disappointed. This is an intelligently designed, brand new park with no frills. The sites are level and are unusually long, making it easy to pull in without unhooking a towed vehicle. Site separation is very good. Lighting is low, on each utility box. The road and site paving is poor quality; we saw one big rig with it’s back jacks buried in the blacktop. Easy on-off access to I-40, yet far enough away to muffle traffic noise. Once the landscaping matures, I would rate this park higher if they add shade armadas and picnic tables at each site, minimal amenities for a “10” in my mind. No pool at the RV park, through RV guests can use the pool at the casino hotel. The current fee is $26/night. We were given 2 coupons worth $5 each. IF you are willing to spend at least 20 minutes, give up personal information (phone number and driver’s license info) and walk through the smoky casino, you can redeem your coupons and bring your cost down to $16.

Our site was huge, with wonderful landscaping, shade trees, and a concrete pad with ramada and picnic table - even our own trash can. The park is beautifully maintained and the museum interesting. The history in the area (Pancho Villa's raid on Columbus and the resulting U.S. expedition into Mexico) is fascinating. This lovely, quiet park makes a great place to get away and relax.

This new park is yet to be completed. Sites are roomy, level, with a (large) gravel base. Roads are paved, an advantage when the wind blows. Views are expansive and there are extensive, well-marked hiking trails out the back of the park into Tucson Mountain Park. As this is the high season in Tucson, PA rates are not honored now, but daily ($20) and monthly $395 to $440, I think, including electric) rates are competitive. A laundry room is available, but lack of restrooms/showers and pool may be an issue for other campers. This will be a lovely desert park when it is complete and the plantings mature.

This park has been accurately described by other reviewers this month. Nicely landscaped and maintained. Friendly staff. We were assigned a long, level pullthru. Some road noise, but not more than usual in an urban environment. We were very impressed with how the staff in the office, dealt with a problem in the park today, an apparently drunk, very offensive, belligerent visitor. The staff immediately and calmly handled the situation. We have stayed in other parks where this would not have been handled, or not handled well. I am sure we will stay here again when visiting Eugene.

We heard about this park online from the prior reviewer and visited it a week later. We're GLAD we did! Quiet, green oasis near John Day Fossil Beds N.M. Gravel sites are long and fairly level, surrounded by thick grass and lovely, large trees. Very friendly staff. 6 60' long gravel back ins and 1 long FHU site on grass near the restrooms. 2 full, unisex, baths. Small laundry with huge commercial washers/dryers. Cottages available for rent. The only reason this is a 9 instead of a 10: no cell phone service, no WiFi for internet. That won't matter to some!

We did not stay here, but visited while hiking on the island to update the single prior review from 2002. According to the very friendly and helpful woman staffing the small store, a new website is now available (which I have included above) that gives further information. The prior review described Reeder Beach accurately: rustic, older RV park that seems friendly and comfortable. We drive a 40' motorhome and felt that many of the sites, and the access roads, would be suitable.

This is a well-maintained park in a location convenient to Portland. We generally prefer public campgrounds with WAY more space, but we stayed here during a heat wave, wanting consistent 50 amp electricity. The concrete sites are nicely landscapes, but too narrow for comfort (you have to bushwhack through the shrubs to reach your utilities when your slides are out). If you want a fairly attractive "RV park", this works OK. If you are looking for a "campground" to spread and enjoy the outdoors, this is not the place. Also, they are heavy on the "rules": no satellite dishes on the (very small strip of) grass; no macerator pumps for sewage dumping; no leashes over 6 ft long (including "retractable" leashes). The pool is quite small, indoors in a relatively small building, unappealing on a hot day. We ended up feeling that the park is run for the convenience of the staff and management rather than the convenience of the guests. We would not be likely to return, but we know many will find this park appealing.

This low rating is due totally to the excessive highway noise at our site, which was located just a few yards off of Hwy 101. The location of this park is beautiful. Sites are large and level, and all have views of the Hood Canal. Management is friendly. In spite of our closed, dual-pane windows, highway noise kept us awake late into the night, and began again at 5 am. Perhaps the noise level is acceptable on the lower tier (waterfront) sites, but I doubt it. $40 is a steep price to pay for a poor night's sleep, no matter how beautiful the view. We will not stay here again but, if your hearing is impaired, it might work for you.

We stayed here after reading the prior reviews. There is no playground and no creek. This is a very small lot with full hookup RV sites close together. Several of the sites are pull-throughs, or can accommodate two RV's back to back. The managers were friendly and the park is located right in town. Although it is accessible by 40' rigs and can accommodate that length (which is the length of our MH), I do not recommend this park for big rigs - it is very small, maneuvering was tight, and we had a very difficult time leveling our MH. We would not be likely to stay again, simply due to size issues. Smaller rigs looking for a friendly, no frills park might want to take a look.

This cozy, friendly, well-maintained park has a unique and excellent location a short walk from the historic center of Bisbee. Friendly management and workampers. The addition of WiFi has made this a top-notch campground.

This well-managed and beautifully maintained RV park is within yards of the Mississippi River. Call in advance to reserve a front row site and watch barges as they travel up and down river (some campers might find the noise intrusive). Sites close to the river have little shade. Monthly rates are available in the older loop, set back from the river in the shade of a grove of trees. This is one of our favorite commercial campgrounds, with easy access via I-40 to the city of Memphis, TN.

This park continues to improve with each passing year. Nice shade trees, wonderfully wide access road, beautifully maintained. If the neighborhood was better, we would rate it higher - and of course they can't do anything about that! We appreciate the Passport America rate as we usually are passing through Las Cruces for only a night or two.

Well managed and maintained COE park. Many very long, level, concrete sites. Three camping areas for RV's; two are reservable, the other is first-come, first-served. Separate camping areas for tents (some of the RV sites have tent pads, also). Not all RV areas have 50 amps, but all have at least 30 amps. Rather difficult to use a TV satellite here due to the tall trees. Lovely park.

This park is your basic gravel lot, but we keep coming back. Friendly, mellow management at the pro shop across the street. Excellent, challenging golf course is the big draw here, and we usually pay a $25, one-night, stay-and-play rate that includes both our site and a round of golf for the one golfer in our family. Well maintained. Propane sold on-site. Nice mountain views, and the green grass of the golf course is a pleasant sight in this arid corner of Arizona.

This is our third visit to this park, as it is in a convenient, quiet location when crossing southern California. Nothing fancy, friendly staff, discounts for RV clubs, AAA, etc. The park is adjacent to a small airfield that specializes in glider flights; interesting to watch. The trees are getting a bit overgrown, so big rigs need to choose their sites carefully. Dump station available. The 4,000 ft. elevation of Tehachapi usually is considerably cooler than the surrounding areas - great in summer, maybe not so great in winter. With picnic tables, trees, and shade at each site, this is a very pleasant summer stop.
